Like nearly everyone else, he initially wasn't sure if Patrick Kane's game-winning shot had gone over the line. However, once the replay confirmed that it was a goal, Wiedeman bellowed, "Lord Stanley's new address is sweet home Chicago!" After the Blackhawks won the 2013 Stanley Cup Finals, Wiedeman proclaimed "Lord Stanley is moving back to the Windy City!" and 2 years later, after the Blackhawks won the 2015 Stanley Cup Finals where the Hawks won the first Stanley Cup at home in 77 years, Wiedeman proclaimed "Lord Stanley, a Blackhawks organization along with the greatest fans in all of hockey, welcome you back to your new home, Chicago, Illinois, in the U.S. of A!!" Wiedeman is a graduate of the University of Kansas. == References ==
